Chapter 2, Article Vll, Division 3 of the City Code of Miami Beach, entitled "Lobbyists," requires
the registration of all lobbyists with the Gity Clerk prior to engaging in any lobbying activity with
the Gity Gommission, any City Board or Committee, or any personnel as defined in the subject
Code sections. Copies of the City Gode sections on lobbyists laws are available in the Office of
the Gity Clerk. Questions regarding the provisions of the Code should be directed to the Office
of the City Attorney.

BEACH'S NOVEMBER 17, 2015 RUNOFF ELECTION

Pursuant to the requirements of law, the following persons have been appointed to the
City of Miami Beach's Canvassing Board for the City's November 17, 2015 Runoff
Election:
Canvassing Board Members:. County Court Judge Victoria Ferrer, Canvassing Board Chairperson (Alternative
Member, appointed by Chief Judge Bertila Soto);o Rafael E. Granado, City Clerk (Regular Member); and. Elizabeth Wheaton (Substitute Member/"Qualified Elector", appointed by Judge
Soto)1.
The City Clerk will be publishing meeting dates and times of scheduled meetings of the
City's Canvassing Board.
1 ln anticipation of Ms. Wheaton's unavailability to attend the Canvassing Board November 20,
2015 meeting, I have requested, pursuant to law, that Judge Soto appoint Kathie Brooks as a
