Motion Passage 13-0 Motion 4 Made by Beverly Heller Seconded by Laurie Kaye Davis The Committee for Quality Education requests the Mayor and Commission support Miami Dade County Public Schools legislative priority for early childhood education by: Expanding funding for the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) education program sufficient to cover the cost of a full-day Prekindergarten program for all students. Expanding VPK to include program options for three-year old students The Committee for Quality Education urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above request.
