Resolution 2025-33925 2025-33925 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA DIRECTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION TO INSPECT AND CLEAN THE DRAINAGE SYSTEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE TOP TEN CRITICAL NEEDS PROJECTS IDENTIFIED IN THE STORMWATER MODELING AND MASTER PLAN UPDATE. WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has adopted a Stormwater Modeling and Master Plan Update to identify and prioritize infrastructure improvements necessary to address flooding and enhance stormwater management; and WHEREAS, the Master Plan identifies a list of Critical Needs Projects that require urgent attention to mitigate flood risks and improve drainage performance; and WHEREAS, proactive maintenance of existing drainage infrastructure is essential to ensure system functionality and to support the implementation of long-term capital improvements; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission desire to direct the City Administration to inspect and clean the drainage systems associated with the following Top Ten Critical Needs Projects identified in the Master Plan Update: • Nautilus F (North) • Nautilus B — Muss Park • La Gorce C— N Bay Rd 1 • La Gorce A • La Gorce C— N Bay Rd 2 • City Center A— Palm View • Flamingo/Lummus E — Lenox Ave • Nautilus F — Nautilus Dr • North Shore B & C — Dickens Ave • Flamingo/Lummus A—Jefferson Avenue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Commission hereby direct the City Administration to inspect and clean the drainage systems associated with the top ten Critical Needs Projects listed above, as identified in the Stormwater Modeling and Master Plan Update.
