SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2025-399-WG
for Traffic Engineering Consultants
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the
status of Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2025-399-WG. The RFQ seeks to create a pool of
qualified firms that can expeditiously provide traffic engineering consulting services when the need
arises.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFQ on September 17, 2025. The responsive
proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in
the RFQ.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
•Ghassan Choueiry, Senior Transportation Engineer, Transportation and Mobility Department
•Rogelio Madan, Chief of Community Planning and Sustainability, Planning Department
•Katherine Teipel, Traffic Engineer, Transportation and Mobility Department
•Jose Perez, Project Manager, Capital Improvement Projects Department
•Alberto Ventura, Assistant Director, Parking Department
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates:
•Amit Asgar, Engineering Assistant I, Parking Department
•Michael Belush, Planning and Design Officer, Planning Department
•Otniel Rodriguez, Assistant Director, Transportation and Mobility Department
