This Letter to Commission (L TC) is to formally inform you that Mr. Matthew Gultanoff has submitted
his Oath of Withdrawal as a candidate for Miami Beach Commissioner Group I in the November 4,
2025, General Election. The withdrawal was received and processed today, October 9, 2025.
(Please see attached Withdrawal and Letter.)
Please note that, since ballots have already been printed and vote-by-mail ballots are being mailed
out, it is no longer possible to remove Mr. Gultanoff's name from the ballot. However, in accordance
with established procedures, a notice will be posted at each voting privacy booth in every Miami
Beach precinct, at each voting privacy booth at the two Early Voting locations in Miami Beach, and
included in all vote-by-mail ballots sent from now on, informing Miami Beach voters that Mr.
Gultanoff has withdrawn his candidacy.
Upon receipt of the official notice from the Supervisor of Elections, which will be posted as described
above and included with all future Vote-by-Mail ballots, I will promptly provide a copy to you. The
notice will also be posted on the City's election website and the Supervisor of Elections website for
public awareness.

candidate unless the candidate withdraws his or her candidacy before the end of their qualifying period
