Granado, City Cler DATE: October 10, 2025 SUBJECT: Production Industry Council Motion -October 9, 2025 The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("L TC") is to inform the Mayor and City Commission of a motion passed by the Miami Beach Production Industry Council ("PIC") during their Thursday, October 9, 2025, meeting. At the meeting, the Council discussed Resolution No. 2025-33567 which approved the recommendation of the Public Safety Neighborhood and Quality of Life Committee at its February 12, 2025 meeting, to create a six (6) month pilot program requiring large scale special events in public property with over 5,000 attendees to provide free accessible bicycle and micromobility storage for attendees and waiving the square footage fees for the storage area as an incentive. The pilot program is scheduled from June 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. MOTION: If the Pilot program is successful, the City should invest in creating micromobility storage spaces in the Lummus Park/Ocean Drive area, as most large-scale events that would require these are in this area. These spaces can also be used year-round. Motion was moved by Alexander Sale Stojanovic and seconded by Jessica Londono. Motion passed unanimously (6-0). Members in attendance: Ms. Barbara Goicoechea (Chair), Mr. Igor Shteyrenberg, (Vice Chair), Ms. Jessica Londono, Mr. Joshua Blaize, Ms. Natalie Burns and Mr. Sale Stojanovic.
