SUBJECT: Motion from the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to inform the Mayor and City Commission of a
motion passed by the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee ("Committee") during its meeting
on October 21, 2025. The Committee would like to explore the concept of using Al technology and
prefabricated materials to construct affordable housing.
The motion was made by Bob Cook, and seconded by Maria A. Paulsen and Ines Flax, and passed
by acclamation.
Members in attendance: Commissioner Rosen Gonzalez-Chair, Ines Flax-Vice-Chair,
Mohammed Islam, Nancy Gaggino (virtual), Maria A. Paulsen, and Bob Cook.
