SUBJECT:COMMISSION MEETING DATE TO ACCEPT THE RESULTS OF THE
NOVEMBER 4, 2025 GENERAL ELECTION.
In accordance with Miami Beach Code Sec. 38-4, entitled Acceptance of Election Returns;
Installation of New Officers, on the first business day immediately following the county
elections supervisor's issuance of final election returns from the City's biennial general
election (or from any special election), the City Commission shall meet for the purpose of
accepting the returns of such election(s) and ascertaining the results thereof.
The Supervisor of Elections has informed the Office of the City Clerk that the certification
of the official results for the November 4, 2025, General Election will be issued on Friday,
November 7, 2025. Pursuant to Sec. 38-4, the City Commission must meet on the first
business day immediately following this issuance to accept the General Election results.
Therefore, the City Commission is set to meet on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 9:00
a.m., to accept the election results and declare the outcomes.
A copy of the Canvassing Board Schedules is attached, listing key dates for the General
Election.
