The purpose of this Letter to Commission {L TC) is to announce that the City of Miam i Beach is partnering with Feeding South Florida to host a free food distribution event to assist residents affected by the ongoing U.S . government shutdown .
Event Details:
Date: Friday , November 7 , 2025
Time: 9:00 AM -11 :00 AM
Location: Parking lot at 4000 Chase Avenue
Residents are encouraged to arrive early as food will be distributed on a first-come , first-served bas is while supplies last.
To ensure broad community awareness , information about the event is being disseminated through t he City's official social media platforms , resident committees, and Parks and Recreation programming. Additionally , event details are being posted in our walk-in centers and shared with our community partners to maximize outreach and participation . Please refer to the attached flyer.
