The maintenance and conservation work will be managed by RLA Conservation of Art & Architecture and take place from November 19-21, 2025 and November 24-26, 2025. The work will include the Elmgreen & Dragset, Bent Pool(2019), Jaume Plensa, Minna (2022), Joep Van Lieshout, Humanoids (2018), and Dan Graham,Morris' (2010). Bent Pool, located in Pride Park near Convention Center Drive, will be cleaned with filtered water and conservation-grade detergent, followed by a distilled water rinse. Conservators will address areas of paint loss using conservation-grade paint rated for outdoor use. Tourism and Culture Department staff have communicated with the Design Miami production team that this work will take place on Thursday, November 20th and Friday, November 21st from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily. Bent Pool, Elmgreen & Dragset, 2019 Minna, Jaume Plensa, 2022 To address surface-level grime, Minna, also located in Pride Park, will be cleaned with filtered water and a conservation-grade detergent. The conservation team will remove accretions and reduce mineral deposits with organic solvents. An articulating boom lift will be required to access the upper areas of the sculpture. Staff have also communicated with the Design Miami production team to coordinate the maintenance work to take place on Wednesday, November 19th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Docusign Envelope ID:33FF3B74-E787-4EDC-9BDA-05833034FD2F For the artwork Morris',located on Lincoln Road between Alton Road and Lenox Avenue,and Humanoids,in Collins Canal Park,Miami Beach Convention Center campus,conservators will clean the entirety of the sculptures,and polish and wax the stainless steel.Conservators will clean all surfaces with filtered water and conservation-grade detergent;mechanically and chemically polish elements to remove corrosion;remove applied graffiti using organic solvents;and apply one (1)coat of a cold,carnauba-based paste wax to surfaces.This work will take place from Monday, November 24 through Wednesday,November 26from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.
