Granado, City Clerk DATE: November 21, 2025 SUBJECT: ART BASEL AND EARLY VOTING A Run-Off Election will be held for the City of Miami Beach Group I – Commissioner seat between candidates Monica Matteo-Salinas and Monique Pardo Pope on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. View sample ballot here. Early Voting for the City of Miami Beach Run-Off Election will take place from Friday, December 5, through Sunday, December 7, 2025, coinciding with Art Basel Miami Beach, one of the city’s largest and most internationally attended events. With increased activity citywide, voters are encouraged to plan ahead and choose the voting method that works best for them. What’s New for 2025 Run-Off Early Voting? • Four early voting sites across Miami Beach, strategically located in South Beach, Mid Beach, and North Beach, to ensure easy access for all residents. The following locations will be available: South Shore Community Center - 833 6 Street (South Beach) Miami Beach City Hall - 1700 Convention Center Drive, First Floor Conference Room (South Beach) Muss Park - 4300 Chase Avenue (Mid Beach) North Shore Branch Library - 7501 Collins Avenue (North Beach) • Extended Hours – During the Run-Off Election, all Early Voting locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Vote-by-Mail Drop Boxes – A secure and staffed Vote-by-Mail drop box will be available at each Early Voting location during all early voting hours.  Important: Miami Beach City Hall is located across the street from the Miami Beach Convention Center, the epicenter of Art Basel. Expect heavy traffic around the Convention Center. Voters may wish to consider Muss Park, North Shore Library, or South Shore Community Center for a smoother experience. Voting Options During Art Basel • Vote-by-Mail: Voters can avoid crowds by requesting a Vote-by-Mail ballot by Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 5 p.m. Since the deadline falls on Thanksgiving Day, it is recommended that requests be submitted well in advance to avoid holiday- related delays. Voted Vote-by-Mail ballots must be received by the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Request a Vote-by-Mail ballot here. • Vote on Election Day: Voters who prefer to vote in person on Election Day may do so at their assigned precinct on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters can find their precinct online, by calling 311, or by checking their voter information card. • Vote Early: Voters can take advantage of the expanded Early Voting window and locations. Additional travel time is recommended due to increased citywide activity.
