Parks & Recreational Facilities Advisory Board Motions
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC) is to inform the Mayor and Commission of the motion passed by the Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board at its meeting on November 13, 2025.
MOTION# 1:
The Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board motions to recommend the City look into the feasibility of lighting at the Normandy Shores Park tennis courts including community outreach with light turned off no later than 9 pm.

Motion seconded by: Sean Smith
Motion passes: (9-1) (Against: Jonathan Fryd)

MOTION#2:
The Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board motions and recommends once again that the City of
Miami Beach and its Commission consider limiting the use of the West Lots to recreational and park usage and formally designating the West Lots as a public park with associated parking.
