RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE CERTIFICATION OF THE
RESULTS OF THE DECEMBER 9, 2025 RUN-OFF ELECTION FOR THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, AND DECLARING CANDIDATES ELECTED.
WHEREAS, pursuant to State law and the City Code, a Canvassing Board was designated
to serve as the Miami Beach Canvassing Board for the December 9, 2025 Run-Off Election for
the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, the Canvassing Board was present at the tabulation of the returns of the Run-
Off Election as duly conducted by the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections; and
WHEREAS, the results of the December 9, 2025 Run-Off Election have been certified; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Run-Off Election, the candidates for Group I - Commissioner
received the number of votes cast as reflected more specifically in the Certification of Election
attached hereto as Composite Exhibit 'A" and incorporated herein.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that having canvassed the returns of the December
9, 2025 Run-Off Election of the City of Miami Beach, the Mayor and City Commission hereby
adopt the Certification of the results of said Run-Off Election and it is hereby ordered that the
Certification of the results of the Election and this Resolution be recorded in the minutes of the
December 15, 2025 City Commission meeting as a permanent record of the results of said
Election; be it further resolved that by adoption of this Resolution, the Canvassing Board for the
City of Miami Beach December 9, 2025 Run-Off Election has discharged its duties for said Run-
Off Election; and be it further resolved that as a result of the City of Miami Beach November 4,
2025 General Election and the December 9, 2025 City of Miami Beach Run-Off Election, the
following candidates for Mayor and City Commissioner Groups I, II, and Ill are hereby declared
elected:
for Mayor: Steven Meiner
for City Commissioner Group I: Monica Matteo-Salinas
for City Commissioner Group II: Laura Dominguez
for City Commissioner Group Ill: Alex Fernandez
PASSED and ADOPTED this 159' day of December 2025.

TITLE: A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE CERTIFICATION OF THE RESULTS
OF THE DECEMBER 9, 2025 RUN-OFF ELECTION FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, AND DECLARING CANDIDATES ELECTED.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt the Resolution.
BACKGROUND/HISTORY
ANALYSIS
On November 10, 2025, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2025-33950, certifying the
results of the November 4, 2025, General Election.
The attached Resolution certifies the results of the City of Miami Beach's December 9, 2025, Run-
Off Election and formally declares all candidates elected.
The Canvassing Board, designated pursuant to State law and the City Code, was present during
the tabulation of the Run-Off Election results and has now fulfilled its duties.
Adoption of this Resolution concludes the City Commission's actions related to both the
November 4, 2025, General Election and the December 9, 2025, Run-Off Election.
Please note that the Unofficial Results of the Run-Off Election are attached. Once the Official
Certification of Election is received, it will be included as Composite Exhibit"A" to the Resolution
and made part of the public record.
