SUBJECT: Parks & Recreational Facilities Advisory Board Motions
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC) is to inform the Mayor and Commission of the motion
passed by the Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board at its meeting on December 11, 2025.
MOTION # 1:
The Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board recommended changing the surface to artificial
grass at the dog park located at South Pointe Park in order to reduce maintenance frequency and
associated costs.

Motion passes: Unanimously (8-0)

MOTION # 2:
The Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board recommended the reappointment of Donlad
Goldberg to the General Obligation Bond Oversight Committee.

Arts to host pop-up fitness programming at various locations, including the currently planned Muscle
Beach location in North Beach.
