These events are produced by the City through the Parks and Recreation and Tourism and Culture Departments programs. The following events will take place over the month of February: Event: Date: Time: Location: Fee: City of Miami Beach's SoundScape Cinema Series February 4, 11, 18, 25, 2026 8:00 p.m. Soundscape Park (400 17th Street) Free Every Wednesday, from October through May at 8pm, bring your blankets, chairs and popcorn for a free outdoor movie screening in SoundScape Park that can be enjoyed by the whole family. In celebration of Black History Month, February's screenings will feature films that honor Black stories, voices, and filmmakers. Kindly note that these outdoor film screenings are subject to change or cancelation due to inclement weather. The films include: •Wednesday, February 4: Nickel Boys by RaMell Ross•Wednesday, February 11: Love and Basketball by Gina Prince-Bythewood•Wednesday, February 18: Crooklyn by Spike Lee•Wednesday, February 25: Devotion by J.D. Dillard Event: Date: Time: Location: Fee: Soul Beach Food Festival February 7, 2026 12:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. Lummus Park (6th -7th Streets on Ocean Drive) Free In partnership with The Hungry Black Man, LLC, the Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department will host the 10th Annual "Soul Beach Food Festival" (previously known as the Soul Vegan Festival) on Saturday, February 7th from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lummus Park, between 6th and 7th streets. This year's milestone festival brings together the best of South Florida's and the nation's culinary soul, from Soul Food and savory barbeque and Caribbean classics to vegan delights and bold Hispanic flavors. Bring your family, friends, and appetite for a day filled with delicious food, live music, dance battles, an artisan market with local creators, children's zone and community vibes by the ocean. Guests can also explore creative activities,including customizing their favorite clothing at the Grizzly Print Parlor and taking high-quality portrait sessions by Giana Currie's After-Hours Photoshoot Experience.Join us for an evening filled with music,art,and culture!
