SUBJECT: North Beach Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Committee -
January 13, 2026 Motions
This Letter to the Commission (LTC) provides an
13, 2026 meeting of the North Beach Community
Advisory Committee (Committee).
Members Present:
update on the motions passed at the January
Redevelopment Agency (North Beach CRA)
• Ronnie Issenberg, Chair . Sam Latone
• Tom Richerson, Vice Chair . Romina Orozco-Encio
• Manning Salazar • David Sexton, ex officio (non -voting)
• David Cohen
Motion 1: The Committee recommends allocating an amount, not to exceed $100,000, to
explore and support a twelve (12) month pilot NOAH (Naturally Occurring
Affordable Housing) program.
Motion made by: Tom Richerson
Seconded by: Sam Latone
Vote: Passed unanimously (6 - 0)
Motion 2: The Committee recommends that the North Beach CRA fund the cost of design,
development, and construction for the 71 st Street Light Enhancement Project. The
Committee recommends funding Option 2 (Palm & Hibiscus/Star Island Light
Fixture) at an estimated cost of $178,646.61

Vote: Passed unanimously (6 - 0)
Motion 3: The Committee recommends that the Chair and Board of Directors of the North
Beach CRA approve the Miami Beach Express INC., North Beach CRA
Commercial Fagade Improvement Program application, located at 711 715t Street.

Vote: Passed unanimously (6 - 0)
