A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
ADMINISTRATION TO IMPLEMENT AND COMPLETE THE ALTON
COURT RESURFACING, CROSS STREET STRIPING, AND SIGNAGE
PROJECT WITHIN NINETY (90) DAYS UTILIZING AVAILABLE
FUNDING.
WHEREAS, on September 30, 2025, the Mayor and City Commission adopted the
Capital Budget for Fiscal Year 2026 through Resolution No. 2025-33948; and
WHEREAS, the FY 2026 Capital Budget included funding for the resurfacing of
Alton Court, cross -street striping, and installation of signage promoting Alton Court as an
alternative route for bicyclists and pedestrians; and
WHEREAS, the Alton Court resurfacing project is intended to improve roadway
conditions, enhance safety, and encourage multimodal transportation options consistent
with the City's mobility and sustainability goals; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission desire to expedite the completion of
this project to ensure timely delivery of these improvements for the benefit of residents
and visitors; and
WHEREAS, the City Administration shall work collaboratively with the sponsoring
Commissioner to ensure effective coordination and implementation of this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission hereby direct to City Administration implement and complete the Alton court
resurfacing project within ninety (90) days utilizing available funding.
