plan, entitled the City of Miami Beach Beachfront Management Plan, must outline the property's
uses, management activities, and planned projects. The plan details the City's concession
operations, beach operations, special event permit requirements, projects, dune management
strategy, and other key beach management activities.
In accordance with State Statutes, the City formed an advisory group to review the draft plan and
provide comments prior to submission to the State. The Beachfront Management Plan Ad-Hoc
Advisory Group was created by Resolution No. 2025 -33977. The public hearing was announced
at the February 5, 2026 City Commission meeting:

The draft plan and public meeting notice were posted on February 5, 2026 at
www.miamibeachfl.gov/beachfront, noticed on the County website, transmitted to the State, and
posted on the property at lifeguard stands.
