SoundScape Cinema Series Returns for 16th Season
— Miami Beach residents and visitors can enjoy movies on a massive projection wall — Miami Beach, FL – The City of Miami Beach welcomes back the popular SoundScape Cinema Series for a 16th season of free movies on a 7,000-square-foot projection wall outside
New World Center. Bring a picnic basket and set up a blanket in SoundScape Park every Wednesday, rain or shine, starting at 8 p.m. Oct. 1 through May. The weekly series features classics, family favorites and award-winning films at 500 17 Street.
"Few cities can offer what we have: a world-class concert hall and a 7,000-square-foot outdoor movie wall,” said Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner. “The SoundScape Cinema Series turns
Wednesday nights into a community living room. I hope everyone will join us under the stars.” The new season kicks off on Wednesday, Oct. 1 with the “Thunderbolts” followed by “The Phoenician Scheme” on Oct. 8, “Karate Kid: Legends” on Oct. 15, “Frankenstein” on Oct. 22 and “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” on Oct. 29.
