A RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT NOISE EMANATING FROM A VESSEL,FLOATING
STRUCTURE,OR VEHICLE SHALL BE PRIMA FACIE EVIDENCE OF A NOISE VIOLATION
IF IT IS PLAINLY AUDIBLE AT A DISTANCE OF 25 FEET FROM THE SOURCE,INSTEAD
OF 100 FEET,BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 11:00 P.M.AND 7:00 A.M.EACH NIGHT;
AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO TRANSMIT COPIES OF THIS RESOLUTION TO
THE MIAMI-DADE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND ALL OTHER
MUNICIPALITIES IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY.
Miami Beach United SUPPORTS this quality of life measure that strengthens the
noise ordinance by reducing the existing 100ft noise ordinance to 25ft from the
source.

AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE CONTROLLING OPERATION OF "PERSONAL
DELIVERY DEVICES"PROHIBITING THEIR USE ON THE BEACHWALK AND BAYWALK.
Miami Beach United SUPPORTS this ordinance that regulates robots that provide
deliveries using the right-of-way in order to protect pedestrians.

ORDINANCE AMENDING "STOP THE PAUSE POLICY"TO MODIFY MINIMUM
VOTING THRESHOLDS FOR THE CITY COMMISSION RELATING TO SPECIFIED
PROJECTS AT ADVANCED STAGES OF COMPLETION HAVING AN ESTIMATED
CONSTRUCTION COST ABOVE $1,000,000.
While MBU SUPPORTS this ordinance,we believe it should also include additional
stipulations that even after a project has reached the 60 percent design
phase,there is adequate resident information,opportunityfor input andfeedback,
and timely,full response to any issues brought forward by affected residents,
businesses,or neighborhood associations.

BEACH,FLORIDA,REQUESTING THAT MIAMI-DADE COUNTY AMEND COUNTY
CODE SECTION 2-96.1,ALONG WITH ANY OTHER APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF THE
COUNTY CODE,IN QRDER TO PROVIDE THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH WITH TRAFFIC
SIGNAL TIMING CONTROL AUTHORITY OVER STREETS AND ROADWAYS WITHIN
THE CITY AS A 2-YEAR PILOT PROGRAM
Miami Beach Unites SUPPORTS this pilot effort to give the City control over signal
timing on our streets and roadways in an effort to lessen the existing serious levels
of traffic congestion.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION TO (1)
ASSERT AND MAINTAIN COMPLETE CONTROL OVER ALL ASPECTS OF CITY-
SPONSORED SENIOR EVENTS INCLUDING ENFORCING ADMISSION
REQUIREMENTS;(2)LIMIT ATTENDANCE TO MIAMIBEACH RESIDENTS WHO ARE
55 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND CITY EMPLOYEES (INCLUDING CITY ELECTED
OFFICIALS AND OUTSIDE CONTRACTORS)NECESSARY TO STAFF AND EXECUTE THE
EVENTS;AND (3)ENCOURAGE ALL ATTENDEES TO REFRAIN FROM CAMPAIGNING
FOR ANY POLITICAL OFFICE OR CAUSE WHILE ATTENDING THE EVENTS.
Miami Beach United SUPPORTS this ordinance which protects the integrity of City
sponsored senior events.ALL City sponsored spaces and events should be politics
free.Our seniors deserve respectful,apolitical spaces where they can relax,
socialize,and enjoy the community they helped build because senior events should
be about people,not politics.

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE MOTION OF THE AUDIT COMMITTEE,
RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY PROVIDE ENHANCED ETHICS TRAINING FOR THE
CITY'S REGULATORY EMPLOYEES AND ALLOCATE FUNDING IN THE BUDGET FOR
SUCH TRAINING IF NECESSARY.
One of Miami Beach United's priorities is to ensure good government by
promoting transparency and ethical conduct by elected officials and City
staff.Thus,we are in full SUPPORT of this resolution that the City provide
enhanced ethics training for the City's Regulatory Employees.
