Applicability of proposed FAR Preservation Incentive

The proposed legislation would provide 5,000
sq. ft. of FAR for qualifying properties.
Properties will only qualify for the 5,000 sq. ft.
FAR bonus if they are:
1.Within the Faena District Overlay;
2.At least 65,000 square feet;
3.An oceanfront lot; and
4.Contain a contributing building.
This incentive would ONLY apply to the
historic Versailles and Saxony Hotel, both
contributing buildings within the Collins
Waterfront Historic District.
This incentive represents less than a 2.5%
FAR augmentation for both parcels.
