HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem's R5E & R5F - City Commission Presentation - 02-05-2026FAR Preservation Incentive for Faena District Overlay Item’s R5E & R5F City Commission February 5th, 2026 Faena District Overlay Map Applicability of proposed FAR Preservation Incentive 3425 Collins 3201 Collins The proposed legislation would provide 5,000 sq. ft. of FAR for qualifying properties. Properties will only qualify for the 5,000 sq. ft. FAR bonus if they are: 1.Within the Faena District Overlay; 2.At least 65,000 square feet; 3.An oceanfront lot; and 4.Contain a contributing building. This incentive would ONLY apply to the historic Versailles and Saxony Hotel, both contributing buildings within the Collins Waterfront Historic District. This incentive represents less than a 2.5% FAR augmentation for both parcels.
