SUBJECT: Grand Hyatt Miami Beach (Convention Center Hotel) -Traffic Pattern Impact
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("L TC") is to provide notice of the temporary closure ofConvention Center Drive, between 17th Street and Convention Center south loading driveway, inconnection with construction activities for the Grand Hyatt Miami Beach (Convention Center Hotel).
To maintain construction progress, the developer's contractor must assemble a crawler crane necessary
for the upcoming structural steel truss assembly and installation. Due to the logistics involved in
assembling this crane, closure of the portion of Convention Center Drive adjacent to the Hotel site is
required.
The closure will begin at 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 26, and will remain in effect through Sunday,March 1.

Traffic control measures will be implemented in accordance with approved maintenance-of-traffic (MOT)
plans.
This operation has been coordinated with Convention Center and Fillmore Operations, as well as theCity's Public Works, Transportation, Parking, and Police Departments.
