Miami Beach United SUPPORTS this ordinance regarding micromobility devices because it promotes safety for operators,pedestrians and motorists.The ordinance would state a definition for micromobility device,provide regulations,and sets penalties for violations for micromobility devices in the public rights-of-way.We question, however,whether adults over the age of 16 should be required to wear helmets when motorcycles do not require them. R7N Sponsored by Fernandez A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE MOTION OF THE AUDIT COMMITT EE, RECO M M ENDING THAT THE CITY PROVIDE ENHANCED ETHICS TRAINING FOR THE CITY 'S REGULATORY EM PLOYEES AND ALLOCATE FUNDING IN THE BUDGET FO R SUCH TRAINING IF NECESSARY. One of Miami Beach United's priorities is to ensure good government by promoting transparency and ethical conduct by elected officials and City staff.Thus,we are in full SUPPORT of this resolution that the City provide enhanced ethics training for the City's Regulatory Employees.
