A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ELECTING COMMISSIONER LAURA
DOMINGUEZ, GROUP II, AS VICE -MAYOR, FORA TERM COMMENCING
ON APRIL 1, 2026, AND TERMINATING ON JULY 31, 2026.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission have adopted a policy to rotate the
Vice -Mayor position every four months; and
WHEREAS, the next Vice -Mayor is to be selected from Group II, with the term
scheduled from April 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Laura Dominguez is the next in the rotation to serve as
Vice -Mayor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Commissioner Laura
Dominguez is hereby elected as Vice -Mayor, for a term commencing on April 1, 2026
through July 31, 2026.
PASSED and ADOPTED THIS 1811 day of March 2026.

Adopt the Resolution.
The Mayor and City Commission have adopted a policy to rotate the Vice -Mayor position every

April 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026. Commissioner Laura Dominguez is the next in the rotation
to serve as Vice -Mayor.
