SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No.
2025-445-DF for Professional Architectural and Engineering Services
in Specialized Categories on an "As-Needed" Basis
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to update the Mayor and City
Commission on the status of Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2025-445-DF. The RFQ
seeks to prequalify firms to provide architectural/engineering services on future projects,
as stipulated in Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, for each of the disciplines listed in the
solicitation.
On November 7, 2025, the City received 256 proposals for the various disciplines listed in
the solicitation. As such , the Administration deems it necessary to establish multiple
evaluation committees, by discipline, to facilitate the review of the 256 proposals received.
The responsive proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committees in accordance
with the criteria established in the RFQ.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee for each
discipline, as follows:
ARCHITECTURE -GENERAL, PLANNING AND URBAN DESIGN, TOWN PLANNING,
HISTORIC PRESERVATION, LANDSCAPE, INTERIOR DESIGN/ SPACE PLANNING,
ENGINEERING -SECURITY AND SAFETY

• Herman Fung, Senior Project Engineer, Office of Capital Improvement Projects
