Ms.Wong,
The Palm View Neighborhood Association (PVNA)formally requests that the City coordinate
the installation of a CitiBike station at the east side of the Meridian Avenue and 18th Street
crosswalk to ensure consistent transit access for our community.
The existing stations at Pride Park and along Convention Center Drive are frequently rendered
fully or partially inaccessible during major events and takeovers-such as Design Miami or the
Boat Show-creating a hardship for residents who rely on this service.Establishing a permanent
station at the Meridian intersection would provide a reliable,year-round alternative that
remains accessible to Palm View neighbors regardless of the event schedule at the Convention
Center.
