SUBJECT:Mayor's 41st Street Committee Motion -April 2026
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission (L TC)is to inform the Mayor and City Commission
of a motion made and approved by the Mayor's 41st Street Committee on April 23,2026.
Members present:Bonnie Crabtree (Chair),Avra Bank,Jerri Hertzberg Bassuk,Betty Behar,
Rana Florida,Yechiel Ciment,Robin Jacobs,Michelle Lari,Charlotte Tamie,and Jeremy
Wachtel.
Motion:The Committee recommends the City revisit conversations,with the owners of the
Roosevelt Theater,to explore purchase.
