SUBJECT: Motion from the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to inform the Mayor and City Commission of a
motion passed by the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee ("Committee") during its meeting
on April 21, 2026. The Committee endorses the following funding recommendations for Public
service activities to be funded with Fiscal Year 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
and HOME-ARP Programs.
2026 CDBG Allocation $921,527.00
CDBG Public Services (15% Cap $138,229.05) Amount Beneficiaries
UNI DAD of Miami Beach -Proiect Link $15,400.00 220
Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade $35,000.00 250
AYUDA, Inc. -Here for You Program $21,638.00 20
UNI DAD -Senior Recreation & Language Programming $15,500.00 140
Friendship Circle -Sunday Circle $10,000.00 24
City of Miami Beach -Grocery Program $25,691.05 94
Miami Beach Police Athletic League $15,000.00 25
Home-ARP-Leoal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. $50,000.00 115
Plannina and Administration 120% cap) -CMB $184,305.40
The above motion was made by Commissioner Monica Matteo-Salinas, seconded by Vice Chair
Bob W. Cook, and passed unanimously.
