SUBJECT: Miami Beach Sister Cities Committee Motions -May 2026
The purpose of this Letter to Commission ("L TC") is to inform the Mayor and City Commission
of motions made, and unanimously approved, by the Sister Cities Committee on May 4, 2026.
Members present, on May 4, 2026, include Mani Cohen, Allison Buttacavoli, Janinha Piazzetta,
Blanca Villarello, Jared Plitt, Fred Bean, and George Neary.
Motion #1: The Sister Cities Committee recommends the renewal of the City of Miami Beach Sister Cities International membership, in the amount of $810, for FY26/27.
