Lunch Out of Landfills is built around the premise of building a practical student-led solution to food waste in schools. It has various components and has been implemented successfully
in 126 schools throughout the country. There have been a few additions and expansions since I received the information as well. It could be replicated locally, especially with the
recent bill in the Florida Senate addressing food waste in schools (SB 1464).
