The Committee for Quality Education would like you to be aware of the following motions approved
at the May 26, 2026, committee meeting regarding support for educational enhancements and
prekindergarten scholarships.

The Committee for Quality Education would like to request the Mayor and Commission continue to
support and fund, at the same level or above, all city educational initiatives at Miami Beach public, private and charter schools for the 2026-27 school year.
The Committee for Quality Education urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above request.

The Committee for Quality Education requests the Mayor and Commission support Resolution
2026-34118 to increase the number of Prekindergarten scholarships available to Miami Beach families to a minimum of 230 for the 2027-28 school year and each year thereafter.
The Committee for Quality Education urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above request.
