SUBJECT: Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board Motions
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to inform the Mayor and Commission of the motion passed by the Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board at its meeting on May 28th, 2026.
MOTION:
• The Parks and Recreational Facilities Board reiterates prior motions and
recommends, once again, that the City of Miami Beach and its Commission
consider limiting the use of the West Lots to recreational and park usage and
formally designating the West Lost as a public park with associated parking and
related zoning restrictions.
Motion made by: Daniel Aronson Motion seconded by: Gayle Durham,
Motion passes: Unanimously (10-0)
