SUBJECT: JUNE AND JULY 2026 SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT APPLICATIONS
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to provide information on permit applications being processed by the Tourism and Culture Department for June and July 2026 as of the date
of publication. The list below also includes applications submitted for Pop-Ups, and Temporary
Sampling activations. Not all applications have been completed, as they are in varying stages of
reviews.
* Activations related to World Cup/soccer.
A.Special Events on Public Property:
SPE0526-2393 CMB FIFA Tournament Flags Display at Lummus Park*
Location: Lummus Park Grassy Area; 6th Street
Dates: May 21st - July 20th on display
Estimated Attendance: 100 Description: Placement of flags of countries participating in the FIFA World Cup.
SPE0226-2307 AAA Corporate Travel Location: Eden Roe Miami Beach (Beachfront); 4525 Collins Ave Dates: June 2nd 1 :00 PM - 4:00 PM Estimated Attendance: 150 Description: Private beach club event with a DJ, food, and drinks.
SPE0526-2386 Polsinelli Private Non-shareholders Dinner
Location: Front Entrance of Queen; 550 Washington Ave
Dates: June 5th 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Estimated Attendance: 600
Description: Private dinner with pipe and drape in the entry to create a more private entry
experience.
