FIFA World Cup 2026 Additional Watch Party Activations
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to provide the Mayor and City Commission with
an update regarding additional FIFA World Cup 2026 public watch party activations approved for in
partnership with the Miami FIFA Host Committee.
Following coordination with FIFA and the Miami FIFA Host Committee, approval has been granted
for the City of Miami Beach to host additional public viewing activations at Lummus Park during the
FIFA World Cup tournament period. These activations are intended to expand public engagement
opportunities for residents and visitors while supporting the citywide celebration surrounding the
tournament.
The newly approved Lummus Park watch party activations will occur on the following dates:
•Monday, July 6
•Tuesday, July 7
•Thursday, July 9
•Friday, July 10
•Saturday, July 11
•Tuesday, July 14
•Wednesday, July 15
Round of 16 -3:00 PM & 8:00 PM
Round of 16 -12:00 PM & 4:00 PM
Quarterfinal -4:00 PM
Quarterfinal -3:00 PM
Quarterfinal -5:00 PM & 9:00 PM
Semi-Final -3:00 PM
Semi-Final -3:00 PM
The city administration continues to work collaboratively with the Miami FIFA Host Committee. Our
city teams, including Police, Fire, Parks, Facilities, Fleet & Beaches, Transportation & Mobility, Code
Compliance, Public Works, Tourism and Culture, Parking and Marketing and Communications,
continue to work on operational planning, crowd management, sanitation, mobility, promotion and
other logistical considerations associated with these additional activations.
