SUBJECT: LGBTQIA+ Advisory Committee Motion -June 9, 2026
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to update the Mayor and Commission on a
motion made during the June 9, 2026, LGBTQIA+ Advisory Committee Meeting.
Motion:
The LGBTQIA+ Advisory Committee extends its sincere appreciation to the Mayor and City
Commission, the City Attorney's Office, and city officials for their leadership and support in
addressing the crisis within the Florida AIDS Drug Assistance Program that emerged in March
2026.
Motion was made by Paul Thomas, seconded by Ami Glottman and was passed unanimously.
Members in attendance: Carol Coombes (Chair), Paul Thomas (Vice-Chair),
Christoph Babka, Vincent Becchinelli, Ami Glottmann, Eddy Rivero, Laurence
Moser, Victoria Pelletier, Victoria Rebagliati, Timur Tugberk, Jonathan Welsh,
Amy Wecker, Facundo Yebne
