Miami Beach Juneteenth Celebrations 2026
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to announce the cultural programming for Juneteenth in the City of Miami Beach, honoring the 161st Juneteenth Independence Day.
Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, the date recognized as the end of slavery in the United States.
The City will host its annual signature event, held in Lummus Park for the first time. The evening
kicks off at 6:00 PM on 14th and Ocean Drive, with a live dance performance by the Peter London
Global Dance Company.
