City of Miami Beach Wins Major Marketing and Video Production Awards for "Find Your Vibe" and "Miami Beach Made" Campaigns
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to announce that the City of Miami Beach's Office of Marketing & Communications has recently secured two prestigious industry awards.
These accolades recognize the city's excellence in strategic communications, storytelling and
high-quality video production.
The "Find Your Vibe" campaign -produced in close collaboration with the Greater Miami
Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and their agency of record, VML, took home the Gold
Telly Award for Video Production. This is an exceptional honor reserved for the top tier of video creators and producers worldwide. The City was also recognized regionally by the American Marketing Association (AMA) South Florida Chapter at their 2026 Marketing Awards,
securing the marquee award for The Best PR & Communications Campaign of the Year for its "Miami Beach Made" campaign.
Launched in November 2025, the "Find Your Vibe" campaign featured a video (:90, :30 and :15
versions), static and animated digital banners and paid social media assets designed to promote
Miami Beach's commercial corridors, including Alton Road, Collins Avenue, Espanola Way, Lincoln Road, North Beach, Ocean Drive, Sunset Harbour, Washington Avenue, 41 Street and
more. An exciting extension of the campaign is a customized online directory organized by area: South Beach, Mid Beach and North Beach. Learn more at FindYourVibeMB.com.
The "Miami Beach Made" campaign that launched in January 2025 was a multi-phase campaign
attracting filmmakers and supporting local productions, promoting the City's film grants and empowering creatives to craft original works set against iconic backdrops such as Espanola
Way, Ocean Drive and the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.
This year's 47th Annual Telly Awards competition drew over 13,800 entries from across the globe. Winners were selected by the Telly Awards Judging Council, which comprises the video
and television industry's brightest minds from companies such as HBO, the WNBA, Netflix,
YouTube and more. Earning a Gold designation places Miami Beach among a truly distinguished few, serving as a testament to the City's commitment to storytelling excellence and high-quality
production standards. More information on the Telly Awards winners and their work is available at www.tellyawards.com.
The AMA South Florida Marketing Awards represent the benchmark of excellence across top
advertising agencies, digital firms and in-house creative professionals throughout the region. Winning this competitive category underscores the exceptional work of maximizing municipal
resources to drive meaningful economic and cultural visibility. More information about the awards
program is available at https://amasfl.org/marketing-awards/.
