Civilian Volunteer Patrol Graduation Ceremony
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to inform the Mayor and City Commission of a
Miami Beach Police Department Civilian Volunteer Patrol (CVP) Graduation Ceremony for newmembers scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. The ceremony will be held at theMiami Beach Police Department Training Room, located at 1100 Washington Ave, Miami Beach,FL 33139.
The ceremony will recognize the graduation of CVP members Yousef Issa and Natalia Perlova.
Established in 2021, the Civilian Volunteer Patrol program supports community safety efforts bydeterring criminal activity and enhancing residents' quality of life through high-visibility foot patrols.In addition to reporting suspected criminal activity to the Miami Beach Police Department,volunteers also identify and report quality-of-life issues such as vandalism, graffiti, noise, and
parking violations to the appropriate City departments, including Public Works, Transportation &Mobility, and Parking.
The CVP program currently has 17 active members:
