I. REQUESTS FOR EXTENSIONS OF TIME
1. HPB File No. 5011, 0001 35th Street – Restroom Facilities The applicant, the
City of Miami Beach, is requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to obtain a
Building Permit for a previously issued a Certificate of Appropriateness for the
construction of a new single story restroom facility.
APPROVED
2. HPB File No. 5012, 1011-1015 Alton Road – Walgreens. The applicant,
Walgreens Co., is requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to obtain a
Building Permit for a previously issued a Certificate of Appropriateness for the
total demolition of the two (2) existing single story multifamily buildings, and the
construction of a new single story retail building with roof-top parking.

1. HPB File No. 6389, 1506 Collins Avenue – Hotel Eva. The applicant, Ventura
Way, Inc., is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the installation of
artificial vines along the first floor of the building, to appeal an administrative
decision.

IV. REQUESTS FOR CERTIFICATES OF APPROPRIATENESS
1. Previously Continued Projects
a. HPB File No. 6344, 1677 Collins Avenue – The National Hotel. The
applicant, New National, LLC., is requesting a Certificate of

Appropriateness for the partial demolition and renovation of the existing
hotel, including substantial demolition and alterations to the lobby and
mezzanine levels.
