I. REQUESTS FOR EXTENSIONS OF TIME
1. HPB File No. 5588, 6525 Collins Avenue – The Mimosa. The applicant, The
Mimosa, LLC., is requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to obtain a
Building Permit for a previously issued Certificate of Appropriateness for the
partial demolition of the existing hotel and the construction of a new 9-story
structure at the rear of the property.

II. NEW BUSINESS
1. Discussion: Status of 350 Meridian Avenue.

III. SINGLE FAMILY HOMES
1. HPB File No. 6681, 1035 14th Street – Single Family Home. The applicant,
Obadia Schochet, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the partial
demolition of the existing 2-story home and the construction of a new single
story addition.

IV. HISTORIC DESIGNATIONS
1. HPB File No. 6738, 444 West 43rd Street – Single Family Home. The applicant,
Carrie Comer, is requesting that the Historic Preservation Board approve a
request for the designation of the existing 1-story home as an historic structure.

V. REQUESTS FOR CERTIFICATES OF APPROPRIATENESS
1. Previously Continued Items
a. HPB File No. 6682, 830 5th Street. The applicant, 5th and Jeff., LLC., is
requesting a Certificate of appropriateness for the partial demolition
and renovation of the existing single story building, including design
modifications to the existing storefronts and building facades.
APPROVED
b. HPB File No. 6685, 330 Lincoln Road. The applicant, Stone
Management Assoc., LLC., is requesting a Certificate of
Appropriateness for the partial demolition of the existing storefront,
and the construction of a new storefront with pass-thru windows.
NO ACTION TAKEN; ANY FUTURE CONSIDERATION REQUIRES RE-NOTICING
c. HPB File No. 5395, 805 5th Street – Burmon Building. The applicant,
Burmon Investments, Inc., is requesting modifications to a previously
approved Certificate of Appropriateness for the construction of a new
3-story commercial structure on a vacant lot. Specifically the applicant
is requesting to incorporate an automatic parking system into the
design, which will require modifications to the previously approved
building elevations, and increase the building height to 4-stories.

a. HPB File No. 6683, 1200 Michigan Avenue – South Beach Boys and
Girls Club. The applicant, Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade, is
requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the demolition of an
existing single story structure and the construction of a new 2-story
building.

b. HPB File No. 6739, 135 Ocean Drive – South of 5th Condominium.
The applicant, Monica Gonzalez-Mora is requesting a Certificate of
Appropriateness for the construction of a new roof-top addition on an
existing 2-story building.
APPROVED
c. HPB File No. 6737, 845 Lincoln Road – CB2. The applicant,
Euromarket Designs, Inc., is requesting a Certificate of
Appropriateness for the installation of banners on the west elevation
of the existing 2-story building.
APPROVED
d. HPB File No. 6740, 960 Ocean Drive – Edison Hotel. The applicant,
SOBE USA LLC., is requesting an After-the-Fact Certificate of
Appropriateness for both the demolition of the exterior ground floor
walls and storefront and the demolition of the previous courtyard pool.
The applicant, is also requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for
the construction of a new water feature, bar, and canopy structure in

the existing courtyard, and modifications to the design and layout of
the current ground floor restaurant space.
