Discussion: FDOT Signal Arm at 21st Street and Collins Avenue Board updated. 4.Discussion: Fire Station No. 4 Board voted to request that a Public Hearing be held to request that staff prepare a Preliminary Evaluation and Recommendation report. Previously Continued Projects: 1.HPB File No. 1197, 448 - 458 Ocean Drive - Ocean Five Hotel. The applicant, Sayeh Corp., is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the relocation, alteration and partial demolition of an existing two (2) story structure, in conjunction with the construction of a six (6) story, mixed-use hotel, retail structure. CONTINUED: To 05/08/01 2.HPB File No. 1193, 1701 Collins Avenue - Ritz Plaza Hotel. The applicant, Ritz Plaza Corporation, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the substantial rehabilitation, renovation, restoration and partial demolition of an existing interior lobby. APPROVED 3.HPB File No. 1201, 1045 Michigan Avenue. The applicant, Jean Claude Reboul, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the substantial rehabilitation of an existing single family home and conversion to duplex, as well as the construction of a four (4) story, five (5) unit structure in the rear of the property. APPROVED 2 4.HPB File No. 1204, 1600 Collins Avenue/200 Lincoln Road - South Beach City Center . The applicant, Atlantic Ocean Real Estate Corp., is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the demolition of seven (7) existing structures in conjunction with the renovation of the remainder of the structures and construction of a new retail and hotel complex consisting of a new 138 unit, 10 story hotel with accessory retail and restaurant space, a 3-story retail structure, a parking garage and open air plaza. APPROVED: However, various details were continued to 6/12/01 5.HPB File No. 1184, 3425 Collins Avenue - Bikini Beach Cafe. The applicant, Bikini Beach Cafe, Inc., is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the demolition of existing canopies and structures, and the construction of new decks and kiosks in the rear of the property. APPROVED 6.HPB File No. 1211, 640 Ocean Drive - Park Central Hotel. The applicant, Tony Goldman, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the partial demolition and alteration of an existing hotel, in conjunction with the construction of a new roof deck and pool. APPROVED 7.HPB File No. 1216, 1433 Collins Avenue - Carlton Hotel. The applicant, Hilton Grand Vacations, Co., is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the partial demolition, alteration, renovation and restoration, of an existing hotel, inclusive of the construction of a new four (4) story annex structure. APPROVED 8.HPB File No. 1218 (formerly Joint Board File No. 9607J), 1412 Ocean Drive. The applicant, Eugene Rodriguez, is a requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for revisions to previously approved plans in order to partially demolish, alter and modify an existing storefront. CONTINUED: To 05/08/01 Revisions to Previously Approved Plans: 1.HPB File No. 1203, 532-546 Lincoln Road. The applicant, Cafeteria of South Beach, LLC, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for revisions to previously approved plans the partial demolition of an existing structure in order to accommodate a new roof- deck and bar, elevator and stair tower extension, as well as a new storefront. APPROVED New Projects: 3 1.HPB File No. 1221, 1410 Lenox Avenue. The applicant, Menachem M. Korf, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the partial demolition and alteration of an existing single-family home, in order to construct a roof-top addition. CONTINUED: To 06/12/01 2.HPB File No. 1223, 21st and 29th Street Ends. The applicant, The City of Miami Beach, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the demolition of existing restroom facilities and the construction of new restrooms. CONTINUED: To 05/08/01 3.HPB File No. 1222, 825 - 845 Lincoln Road. The applicant, Lincoln 825 LLC, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the substantial rehabilitation, renovation, restoration and partial demolition of an existing two (2) story structure and the construction of a two (2) story ground level addition. APPROVED 4.HPB File No. 1219, 634-642 Washington Avenue - The Anglers Hotel. The applicant, Alan Lieberman, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for the partial demolition, alteration and substantial rehabilitation of two (2) existing structures, as well as the construction of a new five (5) story annex structure on the south side of the site, and a new four (4) story annex structure on the west side of the site.
