minimum required driveway aisle width, and to waive a portion of the
minimum required parking space size, inside a recently constructed 247-
space parking garage within a new 18-story condominium apartment building.
1. A. An after-the-fact variance to waive a range of 3.4’ to 0.01’ of the
minimum required width of the interior drive aisle of 22’ - 0 in order to
retain portions of two way drive aisles with clearances in the range of
18.6’ to 22.0’.
B. An after-the-fact variance to waive a range of 1.39’ to 1.6’ of the
minimum setback required dimension of 1’ - 6” for various
structural columns located parallel to the interior drive as
measured from the edge of the required interior drive to the face of
the column in order to retain the existing columns within the
parking garage.
2. A variance to waive a range of 2’ - 0” to 3’ - 7” of the minimum required
18’ - 0” standard off-street parking space dimension in order to provide
several parking spaces with a depth ranging from 16’ - 0” to 14’ - 5”.

Historic Preservation Board resolution recommending that the City amend the Code
to allow for materials other than tiles (i.e. metal roofs) to be used on new roofs for
single family homes.
