The applicant will present a progress report as a requirement of an extension of
time which was granted on March 1, 2002. Variances were originally granted on
March 2, 2001 for the construction of a four-story, eight unit apartment building
with twelve parking spaces. The extension of time gives the applicant until March
2, 2003 to obtain a building permit, and until September 2, 2004 to complete the
project.

This case is continued from the meeting of July 2, 2002, due to the lack of a
quorum for this project.
The applicant is requesting the following variance in order to construct a 12 story
residential tower:
1.A variance to exceed by 17 feet the maximum permitted height of 120
feet in order to construct a new residential tower with a height of 137 feet
(average height of sloped roof).

1.A variance to waive 269' of the minimum required 300' distance
separation between a religious institution and a bar in order to serve
liquor at the subject property, located 31' from a religious institution.
