File No. 2052. 1155 Collins Avenue. The applicant, E.D.Y., Inc., is requesting Conditional Use approval, pursuant to Sections 118-193 and 130-38 of the Land Development Regulations of the City Code, for the construction of a new 3-level valet mechanical parking structure with 60 spaces, as well as retail and office uses. Motion: Stolar/Fryd. Vote: 7-0. Continue to the April 24 meeting, as recommended by staff. File No. 2043. 1201, 1225, & 1237 20th Street. The applicant, Palau Sunset Harbor, LLC., is requesting Conditional Use approval under City Code Chapter 142, Article IV, Section 118-192, Conditional Use for new structures 50,000 square feet and over; and Chapter 130, Article II, Section 130-38, Mechanical and Robotic Parking Systems, for a 5-story mixed use structure consisting of 70 residential units, and approximately 13,056 square feet of commercial space, with mechanical parking lifts. Continued by applicant to the March 27 meeting to continue the dialog with the various parties. Motion: Beloff/Veitia. Vote 6-0. (Fryd recused). The applicant, Park Place Development LLC., is requesting modification to an existing Conditional Use approval, pursuant to City Code Section 118-195, “Amendment Of An Approved Conditional Use,” to change and relocate commercial uses within the commercial component of the existing mixed use project while increasing the number of seats in the two restaurants and providing parking within the parking garage on the site. The applicant, Ocean First Group, LLC, is requesting Conditional Use approval under City Code Chapter 142, Article V, Division 6, for a Neighborhood Impact Establishment consisting of an alcoholic beverage establishment, entertainment establishment, and dance hall with an occupant content of more than 200 persons. The applicant, 1701 (Miami) Owner, LLC, is requesting Conditional Use approval, pursuant to Sections 118-193 and 142-1362 of the Land Development Regulations of the City Code, for an aggregate of Neighborhood Impact Establishment in the Ritz Plaza Hotel property, to be operated as the SLS Hotel, including various restaurants, lounges, bars and pool area venues with an approximate occupant content of 1,467 persons. Motion: Stolar/Veitia. Vote: 6-0. (Fryd absent). Approve as recommended by staff with amendments. 4:55 – 6:10 File No. 2047. 925 Stillwater Drive. The applicant, Pedro De La Vega, is requesting Conditional Use approval, pursuant to Sections 66-113 and 142-1132 (l) of the City Code, to construct a new pier, a new boatlift and support piles, while the existing boat dock remains, with a total projection of approximately 52 feet from the seawall. Motion: Fryd/Urstadt. Vote: 7-0. Continue to the April meeting to give all parties a chance to work with PERA on a location that would have a lesser impact on the neighbors. 1:52 – 2:24 File No. 2048. 1825 Cleveland Road. The applicants, Robert and Marisol Behar, are requesting Conditional Use approval, pursuant to Sections 66-113 and 142-1132 (l) of the City Code, to construct a new dock, and a boardwalk with an observation deck and mooring piles, with a total projection of approximately 93 feet from the seawall. Motion: Stolar/Fryd. Vote: 7-0. Continue to the March 27 meeting to give the applicant and neighbors a chance to work with PERA on a location that would have a lesser impact on the neighbors. 2:25 – 3:01 File No. 2049. 3301 Indian Creek Drive, 3400, and 3420 Collins Avenue. The applicants, Collins 3300, LLC, and 3420 Collins Avenue, LLC, are requesting Conditional Use approval, pursuant to Sections 130-38 and 118-192 of the Land Development Regulations of the City Planning Board After Action 02/28/12 3 Code, to construct a 5-level mechanical parking structure on Site 3, a 1-level subterranean parking structure with mechanical parking, which spans underneath the 3 sites, accessory retail on the ground floor and either accessory retail or restaurant on the 5th floor, as well as to renovate the historic Atlantic Hotel and develop a small hotel and assembly hall. Motion: Fryd/Beloff. Vote: 6 - 1. (Stolar opposed). Approve as recommended by staff with amendments. 6:15 – 7:01 File No. 2050. 3425 Collins Avenue. The applicant, Versailles on the Ocean, LLC, is requesting Conditional Use approval pursuant to Sections 130-38 and 118-192 of the Land Development Regulations of the City Code to construct and operate subterranean parking with mechanical lifts for a new 10-story, 54-unit residential addition inclusive of a rooftop pool deck, as well as Conditional Use approval, pursuant to Section 142-1362 of the Land Development Regulations of the City Code, for the aggregate of Neighborhood Impact Establishment within the historic Versailles Hotel, inclusive of outdoor venues, not operating as entertainment establishments, open to the public, with background music only. Motion: Veitia/Beloff. Vote: 7 - 0. Continue to the March 27 meeting as the first of continued items. 7:02 – 7:36 File No. 2053 (f.k.a. 1906). 743 Washington Avenue. The applicant, 743 Washington Entertainment, LLC., is requesting a Modification to an existing Conditional Use Permit pursuant to Section 118-195 of the City Code for a Neighborhood Impact Establishment, to change the name of the operator, as required by Condition 2 of the CUP.
