Motion: Kruszewski/Veitia. Vote: 5-0. (Appel and Kuperman absent). Approve with amendment.
File No. 1724 – 1437-39 Washington Avenue – Progress report.
Motion: Kruszewski/Weisburd. Vote: 6-1. (Stolar opposed). Continue to the January 26, 2010
meeting.
File No. 1840 – 2301 Collins Avenue (a/k/a 2377 Collins Avenue). Gansevoort rooftop venue –
Progress report related to a noise violation.
Motion: Stolar/Kruszewski. Vote: 6-0. (Appel absent). Continue to the February 23, 2010 meeting
at the applicant’s request.
Previously Continued Items
File No. 1722 - 1501 Collins Avenue. The applicant 1501 Group LLC is requesting a modification
to the previously approved Neighborhood Impact Establishment in order to change the owner or
operator as required by Condition No. 2 of the Conditional Use Permit.
Deferred at the applicant’s request. No vote necessary.
File No. 1941. 600 Washington Avenue. The applicant, Global Holdings International, Inc., is
requesting Conditional Use approval to build and operate a permanent parking lot on a 24-hour
basis on a currently vacant site.
Motion: Kruszewski/Kuperman. Vote: 6-0. (Appel absent). Continue to the January 26, 2010
meeting at the applicant’s request.
File No. 1947 – 550 Washington Avenue. The applicant, Big Time Production, LLC, is requesting
Conditional Use approval to operate this establishment as a performing art theater and lounge
serving alcoholic beverages during weekends and holidays. The property will continue to be used
as a production studio during weekdays. The establishment consists of a total of 13,586 square feet
of space.
Motion: Kruszewski/Kuperman. Vote: 7-0. Approve as recommended by staff with amendments.
