1. Discussion: Transfer of Variance Authority to the Design Review Board

1. Requests for Continuances
a. DRB File No. 23044, 5750 North Bay Road. The applicant, Christian de
Berdouare, is requesting Design Review Approval for the construction of
a new two-story single family home to replace an existing one-story
home, to be demolished.

b. DRB File No. 23089, 22 Star Island Drive. The applicant, Twenty Two
Star Island LLC, is requesting Design Review Approval for the
construction of a new two-story single family home to replace an existing
pre-1942 architecturally significant two-story home, to be demolished.

is requesting Design Review Approval for the construction of a new two -

c. DRB File No. 23107, 3511 Flamingo Drive. The applicant, Sara
Bogomilsky is requesting Design Review Approval for the construction of
a new two-story single family home to replace an existing pre -1942
architecturally significant two-story home, to be demolished.

III. APPLICATIONS FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL
1. Requests for Continuances
a. DRB File No. 23006, 4701 North Meridian Avenue –Miami Heart
Villas. The applicant, 4701 North Meridian, LLC c/o Ophir Sternberg , is
requesting modifications to a previously approved Design Review
Approval for the construction of eight (8) new residential villas on a
surface parking lot of the former Miami Heart. Specifically, the applicant
is requesting design modifications to the exterior finishes and
architectural treatments of the elevations to the previously approved
plans.

b. DRB File No. 23063, Citywide Distributed Antenna System (DAS)
Nodes The applicant, Crown Castle NG East, Inc., is requ esting Design
Review Approval for the installation of a Stealth Distributed Antenna
System (DAS) node within the public right-of-way at the following
approximate location outside of historic districts: 1397 16th Street.

2. Previously Continued
a. DRB File No. 22942, 4701 North Meridian Avenue – Former Miami
Heart institute. The applicant, 4701 North Meridian, LLC , is requesting
modifications to a previously approved Design Review Approval for the
partial demolition, renovation, and adaptive re-use of the former hospital
site as a new multifamily residential development, retaining existing
nonconforming height, setbacks, floor area, and off -street parking.
Specifically, the applicant is requesting design modifications t o the
exterior finishes and architectural treatments of the elevations to the
previously approved plans.
Approve three modifications with the exception of the landscaping, and changes
to the parking garage, which are continued to January 06, 2015 meeting

Burger King, is requesting Design Review Approval for the construction
of a new one-story commercial building to replace an existing one-story
commercial building, to be demolished.

b. DRB File No. 23103, 1111 Lincoln Road and 1666 Lenox Avenue. The
applicant, MBEACH1, LLLP, is requesting Design Review Approval for a
proposed new two-story mixed-use structure to replace an existing
surface parking lot and for the partial demolition of one floor of office
space in an existing eight-story office building to accommodate additional
parking and restaurant space
