II. REQUESTS FOR CONTINUANCES
1. DRB File No. 22875, 1676 Alton Rd – Crunch Fitness. The applicant, Crunch,
LLC., is requesting Design Review Approval for the installation of new business
identification signs.
NO ACTION TAKEN; APPLICATION MUST BE RE-NOTICED FOR ANY FUTURE DATE
2. DRB File No. 22876, 1312 14th Terrace – West Avenue Apartments. The
applicant, Highland, LLC, is requesting Design Review Approval for the
construction of a new 4-story multifamily building on a vacant site. [Note:
Application approved on Nov. 1, 2011, with the exception of the activation
of the roof deck.]
NO ACTION TAKEN; ANY ACTIVATION OF ROOF DECK MUST BE RE-NOTICED FOR ANY
FUTURE DATE
3. DRB File No. 22878, 2125 N. Bay Rd. – Single Family Home. The applicant,
Marilyn Blanco-Reyes, is requesting Design Review Approval for the construction
of a new 2-story home, which will replace an existing pre-1942 architecturally
significant home, to be demolished. [The applicant is requesting a
continuance to February 7, 2011]

1. DRB File No. 22753, 545 W. 37th Street – Single Family Home. The applicant,
David Holzer, is requesting A one (1) year Extension of Time for a previously
issues Design Review Approval for the construction of a new 2 -story addition

home.

IV. DISCUSSION ITEMS
1. DRB File No. 22886, 1920 Alton Road. The applicant, Miami Avenue Holding
Company Inc., is seeking preliminary comments and feedback from the Design
Review Board for modifications to an existing one and two story building as part
of its conversion from Funeral Home and apartments to a mixed -use
development.

V. SINGLE FAMILY HOMES
1. Previously Continued applications from December 6, 2011.
a. DRB File No. 22879, 114 West San Marino Drive – Single Family
Home. The applicant, Charles Sofge, is requesting Design Review
Approval for the construction of a new single story addition and new roof
top addition on an existing pre-1942 architecturally significant home.

b. DRB File No. 22880, 2142 North Bay Road – Single Family Home. The
applicant, Geilan Sahmoud Trustee, is requesting Design Review
Approval for the substantial demolition of an existing pre -1942
architecturally significant 2-story home, and the construction of a new 2 -
story home.

The applicant, Cynthia Melk, is requesting Design Review Approval for a
new landscape plan for the site, which will require the total demolition of

The applicant, Erik Borukhin, is requesti ng Design Review Approval for
the construction of a new 2-story home, which will replace an existing
