I. REQUESTS FOR CONTINUANCES
1. DRB File No. 22829, 1683-1695 Alton Road - Bank United. The applicant,
Bank United, is requesting Design Review Approval for the partial demolition and
renovation of the existing single story structure and parking lot, including design
modifications to the existing building and the construction of a new drive-thru
facility. [Note: Project approved on September 7, 2010, with portions
continued to a date certain of November 2, 2010.]

II. Modifications to Previously Approved Projects (previously continued)
1. DRB File No. 20181, 1100 West Avenue – Mondrian South Beach. The
applicant, 1100 West Properties, L.L.C., is requesting modifications to conditions
of the Final Order for a previously issued Design Review Approval for a new
landscape plan for the entire site, as well as for alterations to the existing exterior
elevations, including modifications to the windows, doors, and porte-cochere,
and the construction of new 2-story cabanas at the rear of the site. Specifically,
the applicant is proposing to modify the conditions of the Final Order relating to
the completion of the public baywalk.

III. APPLICATIONS FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL
1. Single Family Homes
a. DRB File No. 22826, 150 South Hibiscus Drive – The Hauenstein
Residence. The applicant, Glen W. Hauenstein, is requesting
modifications to a previously issued Design Review Approval for the
construction of a new 2-story addition at the front of the existing home,
which will require the partial demolition of the existing 2-story home.
Specifically, the applicant is requesting to modify the previously approved
exterior materials and finishes.

2. Previously Continued Projects
a. DRB File No. 22832, 1747-1759 Bay Road – Robotic Parking Garage.
The applicant, 1747 Bay Road Properties, LLC., is requesting Design
Review Approval for the construction of a new 5-story valet robotic
parking garage w/accessory commercial uses and outdoor rooftop
dining, on a site containing an existing one and two story building and an
existing surface parking lot.

3. New Projects
a. DRB File No. 22831, 7251 Collins Avenue – North Shore Bandshell
Park. The applicant, the City of Miami Beach, is requesting Design
Review Approval for the renovation of the existing park, including new
landscaping, site furnishings, lighting, walkways, plazas and signage.

b. DRB File No. 22833, 7251 Collins Avenue – AIPP Project, ‘Beatles
Mandala’. The applicant, The City of Miami Beach, is requesting Design
Review Approval for an Art in Public Places (AIPP) project located within
Northshore Bandshell Park.

c. DRB File No. 22834, 1 Washington Avenue – AIPP Project,
‘Lighthouse’. The applicant, The City of Miami Beach, is requesting
Design Review Approval for an Art in Public Places (AIPP) project
located near the western end of South Pointe Park.

4. Discussion Items
a. Consideration for the adoption of Design Guidelines for the North Beach
Town Center, the area of which is generally bounded by 72nd Street to the
north, Normandy Isle to the west, 69th Street to the south, and the Atlantic
Ocean to the east.

normal business hours at the Planning Department, 1700 Convention Center Drive, 2nd Floor, Miami Beach, Florida

Any of the above items may be continued and, under such circumstances, additional legal notice would not be
provided. Any person may contact the Department at (305) 673-7550 for information as to the status of these items
as a result of the Board's meeting.
