I. MODIFICATIONS TO PREVIOUSLY APPROVED PROJECTS
1. Design Review File No. 21733, 101 East Dilido Drive – Krieger Residence.
The applicant, Richard Kriegar is requesting Design Review Approval for a
modification to a previously issued approval for the construction of a new 2-
story addition to an existing pre-1942 architecturally significant single story
home. Specifically, the applicant is requesting to modify the overall height of
the home.

II. APPLICATIONS FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL
1. Single Family Homes
a. DRB File No. 22345, 4455 Jefferson Avenue – Single Family Home.
The applicant, Juda Jay Schechter, is requesting Design Review
Approval for the construction of a new 2-story home, which will
replace an existing single story home, to be demolished.

b. DRB File No. 22343, 1611 West 24th Street – Single Family Home.
The applicant, Christina Maercks, is requesting Design Review
Approval for modifications to an existing pre-1942 architecturally
significant home, including the construction of a new single story
addition and new roof-top addition.

2. Previously Continued Projects
a. DRB File No. 22056, 3701 N. Meridian Avenue - St. Patrick Church
and School. The applicant, St. Patrick Church and School, is
requesting Design Review Approval for the construction of a new
single story pre-kindergarten classroom building, along with the re-
construction of North Meridian Avenue to include parallel parking.

3. New Projects
a. DRB File No. 22347, 31 Venetian Way – Belle Isle Apartments. The
applicant, Euroamerican Group, Inc. is requesting Design Review
Approval for the construction of a new 5-story multifamily building,
which will replace four (4) existing 3-story buildings, to be demolished.
CONTINUED TO A DATE CERTAIN OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2009
b. DRB File No. 22346, 234-246 Jefferson Avenue – The applicant, The
Housing Authority of the City of Miami Beach, is requesting Design
Review Approval for the construction of a new 4-story structure for
low-income elderly housing, on a vacant lot.
APPROVED
c. DRB File No. 22344, 1020 Alton Road – Whole Foods Market. The
applicant, Whole Foods Market Group Inc., is requesting Design
Review for modifications to the existing single story grocery store,
including replacement of the existing roof with a standing seam metal
roof, modifications to the existing building facades, as well as
modifications to the existing parking lot and landscaping.
