I. REQUESTS FOR EXTENSIONS OF TIME
1. DRB File No. 20640, 7140 Abbott Avenue. The applicant, Aqua-Vista
Holding, Inc., is requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to obtain a Full
Building Permit for a previously issued Design Review Approval for
modifications to the existing 2-story structure, including the installation of new
storefronts.
APPROVED
II. REQUESTS FOR CONTINUANCES
1. DRB File No. 22052, 31 Venetian Way – Belle Isle Apartments. The
applicant, Euroamerican Group, Inc. is requesting Design Review Approval
for the construction of a new 5-story multifamily building, which will replace
four (4) existing 3-story buildings, to be demolished.
CONTINUED TO JULY 7, 2009 BY BOARD. HOWEVER APPLICATION HAS EXPIRED
AND DEEMED NULL AND VOID
III. APPLICATIONS FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL
1. New Projects
a. DRB File No. 22280, 1247-1255 West Avenue – Boutique Hotel. The
applicants, Michael Muskat, Phillip Muskat, and 1247 Bayview Dev.
Corp., are requesting Design Review Approval for the construction of
a new 6-story hotel with accessory retail and restaurant space, to
replace two (2) existing single story homes, and one (1) existing 2-
story building, to be demolished.

IV. NEW BUSINESS
1. Resolution recommending that the City Manager, Mayor, and City
Commissioners commission an architect to design a new lifeguard stand for
South Pointe Park as well as to design three other replacement lifeguard
stands to be constructed and located in prominent locations on Miami Beach
as soon as economically feasible.
RESOLUTION UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED
